This night changed my life.

Panic hit Fast.

Waves smashed the cruise ship hard.
Glass shattered.
Guests gripped their seats with fear in their eyes.
And every single one of them looked straight at us.

I was working on a luxury cruise ship then.

Weeks before the storm, the Captain drilled one question into us.
A question I will never forget.

He asked us:
“When the waves rise, and storm hits, where is your anchor?
Out there in the chaos of the sea?
Or in here, within you, where you have all the control?”

That truth became real the night the storm came.

Some crew froze.
Some spread fear.
And some leaders became the anchor.

Guests did not remember how much glass broke.
They remembered how they felt in our presence.

The real storm is never outside.
It is whether you lose your anchor inside.

The storm only asks one question:

Are you ruled by chaos outside?
Or anchored inside?

P.S. Last week I coached an executive stuck in his job search. While we polished the CV, his breakthrough came when we realigned his energy.
